There’s nothing like grabbing the girls for a weekend getaway to escape and take time out for you!
Being in the travel industry for over 20 years and running my own award winning womens tour company, Sisterhood Womens Travel, as the travelling environment has changed thanks to the pandemic, many of us are wantng to stay closer to home but s?ll want to experience an escape (with a touch of luxury) even for just a weekend with friends for company.

For those craving some boutique and eclectic shopping, you only have to walk the main street of Maldon to enjoy a collection of curio shops including vintage, fashion and antique stores like Tansley & Co, Much Ado Gift Shop, Poppy’s of Maldon, Portia & Co, The Village Patch and a smaRering of art galleries worth a visit.

Hiking
Head to Mt Tarrengower lookout tower for wonderful panoramic views of Maldon and surrounds. You can climb to the top of the tower and watch the sunset over the region.
